Why is it hard to write something about yourself? And easy to write for other people?

Dear old self, You've been worried about what you look like, you've always seen your overflowing flaws. I know how hard you've suffered, how down you are. I know how badly hurt you are trying to adjust to the world's standard. You're trying to erase how the world defines you. You used to compare yourself to other girls. You've always looked at the mirror telling yourself you're not beautiful and not worth it.

Your perspective of life back then is full of negativity. But now, You've finally found your worth. I'm proud of you. You've grown so much. I cannot help to share it loud. "We cannot define people through what you hear to others." That's what you said.

Dear little me? How far you've come? Almond eyes, sharp features, smiling with two dimples around your lips. That is people's perspective of you, but do they know you sincerely? You've changed a lot and I can't help to be proud of what you are. Her name is Madelyn, not madeline but Madelyn. She is living an old school life, she is surrounded by techie people but she chose to write. She loves to blog, and listen to people's stories. She loves to photograph everything especially the clouds. She loves to be awake at dawn. She loves to talk to strangers, that most people are scared of. She hates to have dead air in any conversations- She loves friendship and she is faithful to those faithful to her. She is soft-hearted and she tends to cry a lot. She loves handwritten letters and she loves keeping them in a safe place. She loves people even when they can't love her back. She believes that she is fearfully and wonderfully made by God and she has a purpose to fulfill. And I believe these characteristics is knitted to be her uniqueness.
